Job Description
BroCoTec, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) headquartered in Houston, TX, is expanding its marketing team and seeking a Marketing Intern. This position represents an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to begin their marketing career within a dynamic and growing company. As part of our multi-tiered marketing specialist structure, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our direct mail campaigns while gaining valuable experience and skills in marketing.
Responsibilities:
1. List Building:
- Assist in the research and compilation of targeted mailing lists based on specified criteria.
- Learn to utilize various tools and databases to gather contact information of potential prospects.
- Support the maintenance and updating of existing mailing lists to ensure accuracy.
2. Letter Printing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives and messaging.
- Learn to manage the printing process of letters, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
- Assist in troubleshooting any printing issues and coordinating with external vendors.
3. Envelope Handwriting:
- Gain experience in handwriting addresses on envelopes for each letter with attention to detail.
- Ensure consistency in handwriting style and format to uphold professional standards.
- Support the organization and prioritization of envelope preparation tasks.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Participate in the review of mailing lists, letters, and envelopes to identify errors or inconsistencies.
- Learn to implement quality control measures to optimize campaign performance.
- Act on feedback or suggestions for improvement from the marketing team or management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; College students pursuing a degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
